Do Veneers Hurt?
In the following video, Dr. Vahid Bashi explains how veneer placement is performed, highlighting the procedure’s ease and effectiveness in enhancing your smile.
When it comes to placing veneers, the process is remarkably minimally invasive, to the extent that anesthetic is often unnecessary. This is because the procedure typically requires the removal of a very small amount of tooth structure if any at all. During your first visit, we prepare your teeth for the veneers. This preparation involves lightly shaping the teeth and then taking either a digital scan or a physical impression.
When you return for your second appointment, the veneers are ready to be placed. In the vast majority of cases—nine times out of ten—I don’t need to administer any form of anesthesia. The procedure is straightforward, causes minimal discomfort, and consistently yields excellent results. This approach underscores the ease and effectiveness of veneer placement in enhancing the appearance of your smile.
