The Dental Bridge Process
In this video, Dr. Vahid Bashi describes the dental bridge process, from free consultation all the way to custom restoration.
The procedure for obtaining a dental bridge typically involves preparing the adjacent teeth that will support the bridge. This process is usually completed over two appointments. During the first appointment, the supporting teeth are prepared, and a digital scan or impression is taken to fabricate the bridge specifically tailored for you. To ensure you’re not left without teeth in the interim, a temporary bridge is provided.
Approximately two weeks later, you return for your second appointment. During this visit, the temporary bridge is removed, and the final bridge is securely cemented into place. Before concluding the treatment, we meticulously check to ensure the bridge fits perfectly and functions correctly, ensuring comfort and a natural appearance. Once everything is confirmed to fit just right, the treatment is complete, leaving you with a restored smile.
